The new Depeche Mode Video Singles Collection entered the German charts at number 6.

Depeche Mode have announced the first leg (Europe) of their upcoming "Global Spirit Tour".
The Summer 2017 European stadium tour will see the band play to more than 1.5 million fans in 32 cities in 21 countries across Europe.
The tour starts at Stockholm's Friends Arena on May 5, 2017 and ends July 23 with a final stadium show in Cluj-Napoca, Romania.

Depeche Mode regretfully announce that due to the current civil unrest and instability in Kiev and the whole of Ukraine, the concert scheduled for Wednesday, February 26th at the
International Exhibition Center in Kiev has been cancelled. The safety and security of the band, crew and fans is the highest priority, and at this time it is not possible to ensure a safe and enjoyable concert experience for everyone involved.
Ticket holders should seek refunds from the ticketing vendor or box office from which they purchased their tickets.
The band’s thoughts are with the Ukrainians during this challenging period and they sincerely look forward to the next time they can perform for the fans in Kiev and Ukraine

Depeche Mode will be playing a special warm up show at Palais Nikaia in Nice, France on May 4th. The show precedes the
official tour start, which is May 7th in Tel Aviv. The capacity for the concert is roughly 9,000. Tickets sales are to start February 15th.

Depeche Mode launch the start of their 2013 live tour across Europe next summer. Dave Gahan, Martin Gore and Andy Fletcher will play 35+ shows in 25 European
countries to an audience of more than 1.5 million fans, before taking the tour to North America. The tour kicks off with an open-air stadium show in Tel Aviv’s Hayarkon Park on Tuesday May 7th.
Other dates include Berlin’s Olympic Stadium, the Stade De France in Paris, Moscow’s Locomotive Stadium, and Rome’s Olympic Stadium. The European leg finishes July 29th at Minsk Arena.

"As you may have seen over the last week, a few Depeche Mode-related websites, message boards and news sites have posted alleged tour dates for 2013.
While the band will indeed be touring next year, we have not confirmed any show dates yet and tickets will not be on sale until late fall. Be assured,
we will make a timely official announcement on DepecheMode.com and the band's official Facebook and Twitter accounts as soon as dates are confirmed, and
at that time will give full details on when tickets will be made available.

Techno duo MOTOR is about to release their fourth album on CLR. After completing three massively successful and critically acclaimed techno albums, Bryan Black and Oly Grasset, who together form the act MOTOR,
have shifted gears and recorded a song-based vocal album by the name of "Man Made Machine". The first single, also titled "Man Made Machine", features Martin L. Gore on vocal duties. Apart from the original and extended versions, the EP contains three additional remixes by Black Asteroid, Radio Slave and Chris Liebing,
as well as the "Man Made Machine" video.

After 30 years working on their respective ongoing music projects, Vince Clarke (Erasure / Yazoo / Depeche Mode) and Martin L. Gore (Depeche Mode) come together for the first time since 1981 as VCMG to release a
brand new album on Mute, preceded by a series of EPs.
The album was produced by Vince Clarke and Martin L. Gore and mixed by the influential Californian electronic artist Überzone / Q and will be released in the spring of 2012.
The first release is an EP entitled Spock. EP1 / SPOCK will feature remixes from Edit-Select, aka Tony Scott, the UK DJ / producer and founder of EditSelect Records whose previous remix credits include Speedy J, Death In Vegas and Gary Beck; Regis, British techno musician
Karl O'Connor, member of the Sandwell District collective and co-founder of Downwards Records); Zak aka DVS1, founder of Hush Records and one of the most prominent figures in US dance music counts techno innovator Derrick May amongst his biggest fans, with his second ever
release on May's own Transmat plus XOQ, the alter ego of Überzone / Q, who mixed the VCMG album. EP1 / SPOCK will be available initially as a global exclusive on Beatport on 30 November, and then on all DSPs from 12 December with the 12" release following on 19 December 2011.

Depeche Mode have won the award for "Best Alternatine Video" (Personal Jesus - The Stargate Mix) at the 2011 UK Music Video Awards in London. The video was directed by Andrew Faber and was shot in the Czech Republic. Congrats on this award!!

Due to the massive fan response (see news: Feb 3) Depeche Mode's very first single, "Dreaming Of Me" entered the German single charts at number 45 thirty (30!) years after its initial release.
This is the first time "Dreaming Of Me" charted in Germany and it did even better than the highest UK position back in 1981. Thank You all for the support.

Depeche Mode's 'Touring The Angel' was one of the most successful, highly grossing and critically acclaimed tours of the last year. Hailed as the greatest live performances of their career, it can be re-lived, when it's released as a special edition 3-disc set, featuring the full-length live show and a host of exclusive extras on two DVDs and a live audio CD.
Directed by Blue Leach, who has previously worked with R.E.M, it was recorded at Milan's Fila Forum on 18th and 19th February 2006 and sees the band at their live best with a pulsing sound, electric stage presence and ecstatic audience.
The first DVD features over 20 stunning live songs, including the recent hit singles 'Precious', 'A Pain That I'm Used To', 'Suffer Well' and 'John The Revelator' plus the definitive 'Just Can't Get Enough', 'I Feel You', 'Enjoy The Silence' and many more. Depeche Mode have won the award for "Best International Group - Rock / Pop" at the 2010 ECHO Awards in Germany! Also nominated in the same category were U2, A-ha, Black Eyed Peas and Gossip.
Martin and Fletch were at the ceremonies to accept the award. Congrats on this well deserved award!!

On Wednesday, February 17th, 2010, Depeche Mode will play a special charity concert for Teenage Cancer Trust at London's Royal Albert Hall.
All proceeds of the Band's show will be donated to the Trust, which is UK charity helping teenagers fight cancer.
This will be a unique event and the first time in their career that Depeche Mode will perform at the Royal Albert Hall. It's probably a once in a lifetime opportunity to see Depeche Mode play this
historic venue and it's sure to be a memorable night.

Depeche Mode have been nominated for two Grammy Awards by the National Academy of Recording Arts and Science in Los Angeles. "Sounds Of The Universe" has been nominated for a Grammy in the Best Alternative Album category while the video for Wrong has been nominated for Best Short Form Music video.
The awards will be announced on January 31st, 2010 at the Staples Center in Los Angeles.

Depeche Mode has been forced to cancel their appearance tonight, Friday, August 14th at Cricket Wireless Amphitheater in San Diego due to doctor's orders that lead singer Dave Gahan
continue on complete vocal rest. Because of their busy schedule, a new San Diego date will not be rescheduled this year.

After a slight delay, Live Here Now is back up and running with the limited edition live CDs and downloads of their recordings of the Tour Of The Universe.
The downloadable version of the recent Tel Aviv show is now online, and the CDs will be shipping shortly. The release of all other shows should proceed as planned 4-6 weeks after the concert.

Depeche Mode are pleased to announce they will restart their interrupted Tour Of The Universe in Leipzig, Germany on June 8th. On May 12th, lead singer Dave Gahan suffered a severe bout of gastroenteritis, leading to his hospitalization and the cancellation of the Athens concert. While in hospital,
further medical tests revealed a low-grade malignant tumour in Dave's bladder, which has since been successfully removed. At doctors' orders Dave Gahan must take a break until June 8th, to ensure that he makes a full recovery. The Leipzig show on June 8th will be the first concert following Dave's recovery.
Dave Gahan sincerely thanks his fans for their support, understanding and patience. Depeche Mode deeply regret any problems or inconveniences the cancellations and postponements may have caused.
AFFECTED UPCOMING SHOWS
May 30th
London O2 is postponed and will be rescheduled to a new date, which will be announced shortly. Tickets purchased will remain valid.
May 31st
Depeche Mode's performance at the Pinkpop Festival in Landgraaf is cancelled.
June 2nd
The show at the HSH Nordbank Arena in Hamburg will now take place on July 1st. Tickets purchased remain valid.
June 4th & 5th
The shows at Dusseldorf LTU Arena on June 4th and 5th will be rescheduled, however the exact dates cannot be determined until the 2nd Bundesliga releases its new schedule. Dates for the rescheduled shows are expected to be announced by early July. Ticket holders should retain their tickets for the rescheduled shows.
June 7th & 8th
Regrettably, the June 7th show in Leipzig must be cancelled due to doctors' orders, however the June 8th show will occur as planned. Tickets for the cancelled June 7th show may be exchanged for tickets to either the June 8th show in Leipzig or the June 10th show in Berlin (availability permitting) at the relevant box office.
July 2nd
Bergen, Koengen has been rescheduled to Thursday, January 28th, 2010 at the Vestlandhallen.
All other shows will take place as originally planned.

Depeche Mode’s concert in Athens, Greece, was canceled today, May 12th, after lead singer Dave Gahan reportedly fell ill and was forced to go to the hospital, Reuters reports. “We regret today’s performance
has to be canceled… David Gahan fell ill in his dressing room,” a concert organizer told the audience of 30,000+ at the Greek capital’s Terra Vibe Park. Details are sketchy, but Gahan was reportedly “rushed” to the hospital. According
to the AFP, organizers hinted that Gahan might have suffered from “suspected gastroenteritis” and could potentially perform tomorrow if his condition improved, but no official word has been issued.

Beginning with the historic Ramat Gan Stadium show in Tel Aviv, Live Here Now will be joining the band at every show where it's logistically possible to record. The shows recorded will be released as a limited edition 2 CD

Depeche Mode have announced North American cities and dates for their upcoming "Tour Of The Universe".
Starting off in Toronto on July 24th, the band's North American tour will cover both the US and Canada and hit most major regions across the continent.

In a world exclusive TV premiere, Depeche Mode will be introducing "Wrong", the debut single from the forthcoming "Sounds Of The Universe", at the 2009 Echo Awards in Berlin, Germany.
The German national public TV station Das Erste (ARD) will broadcast the ECHO 2009 on the 21st February from 8:15 pm. Other artists appearing at the award show will be Amy McDonald, Katy Perry and U2.

The new Depeche Mode album which is due for a release on April 21, 2009 (Mute Records) will be entitled "Sounds Of The Universe".
